Donuts
- 2 Bananas, mashed
- 3 tablespoons Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
- 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
- 3/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/8 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon Salt
Chocolate Glaze
- 1 1/2 cups Powdered Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Light Corn Syrup
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 3 tablespoons Water
- 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons Cocoa Powder
- Making the donuts: Preheat oven to 350F; whisk together the bananas, sugar, egg, vanilla, and vegetable oil; in separate bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt
- Fold the dry ingredients into wet ingredients; mix until batter forms
- Transfer batter into plastic baggie; snip corner and pipe batter into greased donut pan; fill each cavity to 3/4 full
- Bake for 10 minutes and let cool completely before removing from pan top with chocolate glaze
- Making chocolate glaze: Whisk all ingredients together in mixer, use water to adjust desired consistency
