Ingredients
- 3/4 cup Butter, softened
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 2 ripe Bananas, mashed
- 1 2/3 cups Flour
- ½ teaspoon Baking Soda
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Nutmeg
- ¾ teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 ¾ cups Quick Oats
Ingredients for Frosting
- ½ cup Butter, softened
- 3 tablespoons Milk
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla
- 16 ounces Powdered Sugar
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400F; in large bowl cream butter and sugar together until creamy
- Add egg; mix until well incorporated; add mashed bananas then mix
- Sift dry ingredients together into the batter; mix until incorporated
- Scoop drops onto cookie sheets then bake for 8-10 minutes
- Let cool before frosting
- Frosting: cream butter; add remaining ingredients then mix until smooth; add more milk and sugar until consistency has been reached, not too runny
