Ingredients
- 1 pound Lean Ground Turkey
- 1 teaspoons Chili Powder
- 1 teaspoon Cumin
- ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
- ¼ teaspoon Kosher Salt
- ¾ cup Salsa
- 1 cup Grated Cheddar Cheese
- 3 Bell Peppers
Directions
- Remove seeds, core and membrane from bell peppers slice each pepper into 6 vertical pieces; set aside
- Cook ground turkey over medium-high heat; break up the meat as it cooks; cook until the meat loses it’s pink color; drain off any fat
- Preheat oven to 375F
- Combine turkey with the spices and salsa; evenly distribute mixture into the bell pepper slices; top with cheese
- Bake on parchment paper lined baking sheet for 10 minutes until cheese is melted
- Other ingredient to use: Jalopeno peppers, green onions, diced avocado, Greek yogurt or sour cream
