
Ingredients
- 14 ounces Black Beans, drained rinsed patted dry
- 1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 3/4 cup Green Bell Pepper, finely chopped
- 1 cup Yellow Onion, finely chopped
- 3 Cloves of Garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Ground Cumin
- 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
- 1/2 cup Bread Crumbs
- 1/2 cup Feta Cheese
- 2 Large Eggs
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- Pinch of Salt and Pepper
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325F; spead beans evenly onto a lined baking sheet; bake for 15 minutes until slightly dried out
- Saute olive oil, pepper, onion, and garlic over medium heat until peppers and onions are soft, 5-6 minutes; place in a food processor with the remaining ingredients; pulse everything together; add black beans; pulse mixture leaving larger chunks of beans
- Form patties using 1/3 cup of mixture
- Place patties on a lined baking sheet; bake at 375F for 10 minutes on each side; serve with toppings
