Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ⅓ cup Oil
  • ½ cup Granulated Sugar
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Canned Pumpkin
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F; grease and flour the bottom and sides of a 9×5 inch loaf pan
  2. In a medium bowl whisk together flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking powder, baking soda and salt; set aside
  3. In a large bowl wish together the oil and sugars until smooth; whisk in the eggs and vanilla extract; stir in the pumpkin
  4. Fold the flour mixture into the pumpkin mixture; gently fold in the chocolate chips
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan; sprinkle the top with a few chocolate chips
  6. Bake for 45-55 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean
