Ingredients
- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 1/2 cups Sugar
- 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Ground Cloves
- 4 Eggs, lightly beaten
- 15 ounces Canned Pumpkin
- 1 cup Vegetable Oil
Topping
- 1 cup Mini Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 8 ounce Cream Cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 tablespoon Milk
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350F; line a 15×10 inch baking pan with foil with it overlapping the edges
- In a large bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, ground cinnamon, baking soda, salt and ground cloves; add 4 eggs, pumpkin and oil; stir until combined; spread the batter into the prepared pan
- Microwave 1/2 cup of the chocolate chips for 1 minute, stir after 30 seconds; set aside
- In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese and 1/3 cup sugar with a hand mixer on medium until combined; beat in one egg, milk and melted chocolate; spoon cream cheese mixture over pumpkin batter; using a knife, swirl the batter; sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean; using the edges of the foil, lift it out of the pan once cooled; cut into bars
