Double Chocolate Brownies

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) Butter
  • 2 ¼ cups Granulated Sugar
  • 1 ¼ cups Cocoa Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla Extract
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 ½ cups Flour
  • 2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  1. Preheat oven to 350F; lightly grease 9×13″ baking pan with shortening; set aside
  2. In a medium saucepan melt butter over low heat; once butter is completely melted, add sugar and cook for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring constantly; pour sugar mixture into a large bowl
  3. Beat in cocoa, salt, baking powder, vanilla, and eggs; mix until combined
  4. Stir in the flour and chocolate chips until well combined
  5. Spread brownie batter into prepared pan, bake for 30 minutes
