Easy Cherry Danish

  • 1 package Flaky Biscuits (Pillsbury Grand)
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 21 ounces Cherry Pie Filling
  • Small amount of milk & powdered sugar for drizzle
  1. Preheat oven to 350F; cream together cream cheese, vanilla extract, and sugar; set aside
  2. Using a serrated edge knife, carefully slice each biscuit in half so there will be 16 slices; place biscuits on a large baking sheet lined with non stick baking mat
  3. Use a small glass or spice container dipped in flour to indent the middle of each biscuit; spread cream cheese on each biscuit
  4. Then add pie filling making sure to include a few cherries on top; bake for 12-15 minutes
  5. While biscuits are baking, mix 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar and a little milk in small dish; add more powdered sugar if too thin
  6. Take danishes out of oven; let cool then drizzle icing over each roll; enjoy warm or at room temperature
