Ingredients
- 2 cups All Purpose Flour
- 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
- 4 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 3/4 cups Milk
- 1/4 cup Butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1 Large Egg
Directions
- Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a large bowl; make a well in the center of dry ingredients then add the milk, cooled melted butter, vanilla and egg
- Use a whisk to mix the wet ingredients then fold them into the dry ingredients; mix together until smooth, some lumps are ok
- Set the batter aside and allow to rest while your griddle heats up
- Heat a nonstick griddle over low-medium heat and lightly grease with butter; pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the pan and spread into a circle with the back of measuring cup
- When bubbles appear on the surface and the underside is golden, flip and repeat on other side until cooked; repeat with remaining batter
- Serve with maple syrup, chocolate chips, blueberries or honey!
