Fluffy Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 2 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 4 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 3/4 cups Milk
  • 1/4 cup Butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Large Egg

Directions

  1. Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a large bowl; make a well in the center of dry ingredients then add the milk, cooled melted butter, vanilla and egg
  2. Use a whisk to mix the wet ingredients then fold them into the dry ingredients; mix together until smooth, some lumps are ok
  3. Set the batter aside and allow to rest while your griddle heats up
  4. Heat a nonstick griddle over low-medium heat and lightly grease with butter; pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the pan and spread into a circle with the back of measuring cup
  5. When bubbles appear on the surface and the underside is golden, flip and repeat on other side until cooked; repeat with remaining batter
  6. Serve with maple syrup, chocolate chips, blueberries or honey!
