Ingredients
- 2 pound London Broil Top Round Steak
- Kosher Salt
- Ground Black Pepper
- 1/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/2 Lemon, juiced
- 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar, packed
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 4 Garlic Cloves, minced
Herb Butter
- 1/2 cup Butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon Freshly Chopped Parsley
- 2 teaspoons Freshly Chopped Chives
- 1/2 Lemon, zested
- 1/2 teaspoon Kosher Salt
- Pinch of Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
Directions
- In a bowl, whisk together oil, lemon juice, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce and garlic
- Season steak with salt and pepper; rub oil mixture all over the steak; let sit at room temperature for an hour
- Preheat broiler; brush off garlic; place steak on a sheet pan; broil 12-15 minutes until top is charred; flip and broil for 12-15 more minutes until internal temperature reaches 125F for medium rare; let rest for 10 minutes before carving
- Herb butter: in a bowl, mix butter with herbs, lemon zest, salt and red pepper flakes until smooth; refrigerate until ready to use; serve on top of London broil
