Mac and Cheese Fries

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 4 cups Heavy Cream
  • 2 cups Velveeta Cheese
  • 2 cups Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 cup Provolone Cheese
  • 1 pound Elbow Pasta

Fries

  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 Egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup Panko Bread Crumbs

Directions

  1. Pasta: in a saucepan over low heat place the heavy cream, Velveeta, parmesan, and provolone; whisk and let cheeses melt
  2. In another pot, bring water to a boil; cook pasta until soft
  3. Once the cheese is melted pour the cooked pasta into the cheese pot; mix together until pasta is completely covered
  4. Pour the cheese and pasta mixture onto a flat sheet pan; smooth out; place in freeze
  5. Once it is almost completely frozen take out and lay on a cutting board; cut into 3 inch by 1/2 inch sticks
  6. Put the sticks in freezer until completely frozen
  7. Fries: fill 3 separate bowls with flour, egg, and bread crumbs; take each mac and cheese stick and dip each one in the flour, then egg then the bread crumbs
  8. Fry each stick at 350F for 4 minutes until golden brown
