Midnight Chocolate Frosting

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Butter, melted
  • ⅔ cup Cocoa Noir
  • 3 cups Powdered Sugar
  • ½ cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 3 teaspoons Black Food Coloring

Directions

  1. Melt butter and stir in the cocoa noir with a paddle attachment on a stand mixer
  2. Add powdered sugar; mix on low speed
  3. Add ⅓ cup of heavy cream; increase speed to medium; add 4 tablespoons more of heavy cream until desired consistency has been reached
  4. Add vanilla extract and black food coloring; increase speed to medium high and mix for 90 seconds
