Mozzarella Ravioli

  • 24 slices Soft White Bread
  • 24 pieces Mozzarella
  • ¼ cup Flour
  • ¼ cup Water
  • 2 cups Finely Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Finely Chopped Parsley
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • Tomato Sauce
  • Oil for frying

 

  1. Roll each piece of bread out with a rolling pin; cut two circles out, 3 inches each from each piece of bread
  2. In bowl, mix together flour and water to form paste; place one piece of mozzarella in the center of each round piece of bread; spread the flour paste around the edges; cover it with the second piece of bread; press edges together to seal; continue with all pieces
  3. Heat oil to 340F; fry each ravioli until golden brown; drain on rack
  4. In large bowl, mix parmesan, pepper, parsley and garlic powder together; after raviolis are drained and slightly cooled, toss each one into cheese mixture to coat
  5. Serve with warm tomato sauce
