Peanut Butter Banana French Toast

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces of French Bread
  • 5 Eggs
  • 1/2 tablespoons Half and Half
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • Butter, for cooking
  • Honey
  • 1 Banana
  • 5 tablespoons Peanut Butter

Directions

  1. Mix the eggs in a bowl with the half & half and cinnamon until the cinnamon is well mixed
  2. Put a piece of bread into the egg mixture; let soak and flip once to get it well coated; soak the bread for at least 2 minutes
  3. While the bread is soaking set your camp stove to medium heat; heat a cast iron skillet
  4. Once the skillet is heated, add 1/2 tablespoon butter to the pan
  5. Add your soaked bread to the skillet; cook for 4-5 minutes on each side; lower the heat if needed; the bread should cook slowly so the inside gets fully cooked
  6. Continue this process until all the bread is soaked then cooked
  7. Before serving, spread peanut butter on each slice and top with slice bananas, a pinch of cinnamon and a drizzle of honeyPn
