Crust
- ½ cup Butter, softened
- 3 tablespoons Sugar
- 1 cup Flour
Filling
- 2 cups Water
- 2 cups Sugar
- 6 tablespoons Cornstarch
- 1 (6 oz.) package Strawberry Jell-o
- 3 quarts Strawberries, clean and de-stemmed
Making the Crust
- Mix the butter, sugar, and flour; press into a greased deep pie pan; bake at 375F for 10 minutes
Making Filling
- Bring water, sugar, and cornstarch to a boil; stirring until thick and clear
- Remove from heat; add strawberry jell-o
- Mix well and cool; fold in strawberries; pour into pie crust; store in refrigerator until set; serve with whipped cream
