Strawberry Pie

Crust

  • ½ cup Butter, softened
  • 3 tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 cup Flour

Filling

  • 2 cups Water
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 6 tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 1 (6 oz.) package Strawberry Jell-o
  • 3 quarts Strawberries, clean and de-stemmed

Making the Crust

  1. Mix the butter, sugar, and flour; press into a greased deep pie pan; bake at 375F for 10 minutes

Making Filling

  1. Bring water, sugar, and cornstarch to a boil; stirring until thick and clear
  2. Remove from heat; add strawberry jell-o
  3. Mix well and cool; fold in strawberries; pour into pie crust; store in refrigerator until set; serve with whipped cream
