Thanksgiving Stuffing

Ingredients

  • 3 Loaves of Bread, pieces
  • 6 Celery Ribs, chopped
  • 1 Yellow Onion, diced
  • 1 3/4 teaspoon Poultry Seasoning
  • 32 ounces Chicken Broth
  • 2 sticks Butter
  • Salt and Pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. Melt the two sticks of butter in a skillet over medium heat; add celery and saute for 8-10 minutes until soft
  3. Add onion to the skillet and cook until translucent; season with salt and pepper; remove from heat
  4. Place torn bread pieces on a baking sheet; bake for 10 minutes, until bread is toasted
  5. Pour celery, onions, and butter mixture over bread; evenly sprinkle with poultry seasoning; season with salt and pepper
  6. Slowly add in the chicken broth while mixing together
  7. Make sure there are no dry pieces of bread; transfer to a casserole dish; cover with foil and bake at 350F for 35-40 minutesÂ
