Ingredients
- 3 Loaves of Bread, pieces
- 6 Celery Ribs, chopped
- 1 Yellow Onion, diced
- 1 3/4 teaspoon Poultry Seasoning
- 32 ounces Chicken Broth
- 2 sticks Butter
- Salt and Pepper
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Melt the two sticks of butter in a skillet over medium heat; add celery and saute for 8-10 minutes until soft
- Add onion to the skillet and cook until translucent; season with salt and pepper; remove from heat
- Place torn bread pieces on a baking sheet; bake for 10 minutes, until bread is toasted
- Pour celery, onions, and butter mixture over bread; evenly sprinkle with poultry seasoning; season with salt and pepper
- Slowly add in the chicken broth while mixing together
- Make sure there are no dry pieces of bread; transfer to a casserole dish; cover with foil and bake at 350F for 35-40 minutesÂ
