Vidalia Onion Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 Vidalia Onion
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Grana Padano Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Mozzarella
  • 1 cup Shredded White Cheddar Cheese
  • 3/4 teaspoon Salt
  • Black Pepper, to taste
  • 2 teaspoons Hot Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375F
  2. Peel and slice the onion in half; slice it in half again; cut 3 of the sections into fine slices; mince the last section of onion;
  3. Put the onion in a bowl with the remaining ingredients; mix well until thoroughly combined; taste and adjust seasonings to your liking
  4. Spoon the mixture into a casserole dish; bake for 25 minutes until brown and bubbly
  5. While the dip is baking slice a baguette; place the slices on a hot grill pan and toast on both sides; serve with the hot dip
